Jayant E. Kulkarni  I am a post-doctoral fellow at the Center for Theoretical Neuroscience at Columbia University. My current research interests include developing mathematical tools to analyze multi-neural data and to build algorithms for neural prosthetic applications. I am also currently exploring multineural data collected from the mouse hippocampus to determine the effect of learning and attention on neural activity. Currently reading: Speak Memory: Nabokov’s autobiography Recently Most Interesting: Went foraging for wild berries with ‘Wildman’ Steve Brill in Inwood Park located on the Northern tip of Manhattan.
